This policy explains how BharatDeed ("we") handles your information when you use our services.

Information We Collect

  • Account information: When you sign up on our website, we collect your full name, email address, and WhatsApp number to create and manage your account and synchronise your web activity with the WhatsApp bot.
  • WhatsApp communication: Your WhatsApp phone number and the messages you send to use the service. We process these to generate documents, answer questions, and deliver your finished documents.
  • Document details: All information you provide to prepare a document — names, addresses, Aadhaar numbers, PAN numbers, property details, financial terms, and any other field values you enter into the bot conversation or web forms.
  • Identity verification: Details required for e-signing (e.g., Aadhaar-based authentication), handled by our licensed e-sign partner (Surepass). We do not store your Aadhaar biometric data.
  • Payment information: Processed securely by our payment partner (Razorpay) — we do not store your card, UPI, or net banking credentials. We receive only a payment confirmation.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and usage analytics when you visit our website, collected through standard web technologies.

How We Use It

We use your information solely to: prepare your document, complete e-stamping and e-signing, process payment, provide customer support, synchronise your website account with WhatsApp bot sessions, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.

Web-WhatsApp Synchronisation

When you create an account with your email and WhatsApp number, we link your website identity to your WhatsApp bot sessions. This means:

  • Documents you create on either platform (web or WhatsApp) are accessible from both
  • Payment links and e-sign requests are delivered seamlessly to your WhatsApp
  • Your document history and payment records are unified under one account
  • You can start a document on the web and complete it on WhatsApp, or vice versa

Sharing

We share only what is necessary with our processing partners:

  • Surepass: For e-stamp issuance and Aadhaar-based e-signing, under their own privacy terms
  • Razorpay: For payment processing, PCI-DSS compliant, under their own privacy terms
  • SHCIL (Stock Holding Corporation of India Limited): For government-approved e-stamp certificate generation

Data Retention & Your Rights

We retain document and transaction records as required by law. Generated documents (PDFs) are stored for 7 days from creation, after which they are automatically purged. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing ankitamehta2025@gmail.com. You may also request account deletion at any time.

Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. All data transmission is encrypted using TLS/SSL. Our payment processing is PCI-DSS compliant through Razorpay. We use secure, atomic file writes for session data and regularly purge temporary files.

Cookies

Our website may use essential cookies for session management and security. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookie settings through your browser.
